GoPetFriendly Winnebago Gets Two Dewclaws Up

Mother and Child

On Tuesday, GoPetFriendly took delivery of our wrapped Winnebago View. Less the 24 hours later it was snowing … clearly a sign that we need to pack up and head to the warmer states!

As we announced in mid-January, GoPetFriendly.com and Winnebago Industries have joined forces to spread the word about the fun and ease of pet travel. From here on in, “On the Go with Winnebago” will be the new slogan for our road trips with Ty and Buster. We expect these trips to be longer and more frequent so we can deliver the best pet travel information to you, our readers.  After all, its all about the pets!

If you were following along on our Facebook page, four different RV wrap designs were prepared by Apple Graphics, Inc.  The wrap you see in the pictures below was the design that received the most votes by our fans (thanks for voting!).

We plan to head out on our first road trip of the year (itinerary to be announced) in the next 7 to 10 days. If you see us on the road, honk and give us a thumbs up. Happy trails!

We are definitely heading south to warmer temps. On our last road trip, we only got as close to you as Nashville. But Memphis is a city we want to see - so we'll let you know when we are heading that way.

Sweet!! Have a great trip. Come through Memphis! It's 70 degrees here today.

That would be cool! Just let me know when :-)

The RV actually rides better than the SUV. The SUV cant be towed - it would have to be put up on a trailer. I'm not ready to add another 8 feet to what I'm driving yet. But it is an option. Think how funny that would look going down the highway.

I thought of mini-me for the caption. Looks like I should run my stuff by you and Jim first!

Thanks! I just wish we could get on the road. So busy we don't have time to pack the darn thing.

We will post inside pics - very soon. I am hoping you will actually get a personal tour. Amy has a favorite aunt that lives in Minneapolis, so it will only be a matter of time till we visit.

Thanks Karen. We're gonna give it a try. On one hand, we're doing this because we want to show people the fun and ease of traveling with your pets. That's hard to do if you're going to sit in an office behind a computer all day and "tell" pet owners this is how pet travel is done. On the other hand, this is also about lifestyle design. We've lived a corporate life for many years, and we just want and need to live life in a different way. Wish us luck!
