Holiday Hop for Pets Winners

You may remember a while back we participated in the Holiday Hop for Pets giveaway hosted by DogTipper, Two Little Cavaliers, and Life with Dogs. Today we are please to introduce you to our winners!

The winning comment (selected using Randomizer.org) was submitted by Karen (known on Twitter as @my3seadogs): One of my friends with two of her dogs, plus Dinah and me, had a wonderful time in Fredericton, New Brunswick this past summer. Our destination was a dog show at a fairgrounds by a river — lovely views, plenty of space for walks, and terrific amenities. The road construction and one closed bridge made for a little creative navigation, but we got to see some other sights because of it.

Karen has four dogs, who were extremely excited by her winnings. This is what Karen had to say about that:

The Gang of Four loved every single piece of the Evanger’s gift basket — so much so that they nearly erupted into the Highland Fling each time I lifted another item from the collection. They sniffed the wrapping. They sniffed the cans and pouches. They even sniffed the coupons to assess their food value. I tend to like to save things I’ll reuse later, so I put aside the cardboard basket. Later on, I heard a weird crackling sound, and managed to catch Badger making off with the basket. I had to retrieve it from him before he decided to rip the cardboard apart in the hope that I’d left some food behind!

The food inside has been a huge hit — particularly the tripe treats. Charlie has been enjoying the canned food with his breakfast, and the others have been getting spoonfuls of it with theirs. I haven’t been able to take pictures of them enjoying it because they all just dive down into their dishes and don’t emerge again until the last molecule has been licked clean.

I’d say that the items in the gift basket were a big hit around here. Thanks again for letting us be your winners.
