Pet Friendly Washington DC

Welcome to Washington, DC – the biggest pet friendly park in the US!  Ty and Buster got us up bright and early to walk over to the White House.

As the temperature climbed into the 60s, we headed to The Mall.  First up, a walk along the Reflecting Pool to visit the Lincoln Memorial.

Then over to the National World War II Memorial and the Washington Monument.

And finally to the Capitol Building.


Who do we see about letting dogs into the buildings?

The boys would like to introduce a bill.

After a six hour walk, Buster surrenders.


We still have to walk back to the hotel?  Carry me ...

Overall, Washington gets two duclaws up!  We were amazed by (1) all the pet friendly places we could walk the boys and (2) all the dog friendly people who stopped to talk to us.
